Become a Foster Carer

In foster care, our rescue cats and kittens receive the love, attention, and comfort of a safe home environment. Foster carers also play a vital role in helping cats who are recovering from illness or injury, or those who simply need a little extra support before they’re ready for adoption.
If you love cats, are open to learning, and have a little extra space in your home and heart, we’d love for you to join our foster team.
The success of Mornington Moggie Rescue relies on our dedicated foster families — we couldn’t do it without you!

Ready to become a Foster Carer?
Fostering can be a wonderful family effort and a great way for older children and teenagers to learn responsibility, compassion, and the importance of giving back to their community.
At Mornington Moggie Rescue, we work with each foster carer to find the perfect match for their family and lifestyle — whether that’s a calm and cuddly adult cat, playful adolescent kittens, a mum with her newborns, or even special needs and medically fragile cats and kittens who need a little extra care.
No matter who you welcome into your home, fostering truly makes a life-changing difference.
