Welcome to Mornington Moggie Rescue
Mornington Moggie Rescue is a non-profit, foster-based, no-kill cat rescue located on the Mornington Peninsula, Victoria. Run entirely by volunteers, our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome cats and kittens in need while working closely with the community to give every cat their best chance at a safe and loving home.
Our journey began with a simple motivation — the belief that every cat deserves a second chance at life. From tiny kittens to abandoned or stray cats, we provide essential vet care, including desexing, microchipping, vaccinations, and a safe, nurturing environment to recover and thrive.
Because we are foster-based, our carers are able to get to know each cat’s individual personality and needs. This allows us to carefully match them with the most suitable forever family. We are also proud to run programs such as our Last Litter Program, which supports local owners and helps reduce the cycle of unwanted litters across the Peninsula.
